Coming into the break, just past the halfway stage of the season, how does everyone think we've done so far? Are fans happy? Did ye expect better or worse? Myself I expected better. I understand the first season back coupled with the late managerial appointment will have dampened expectations, but the last 2 months just haven't been good enough with the first 11 we've been putting out. I see on MNS, they talking about a certain style we're trying to play? Where are they getting this from? word of mouth? because it couldn't be from watching us play, we're dreadful to watch the past while. No real game plan as far as I can see, going through games without creating a single chance, dreadful amateurish defending. Taylor doesn't seem to be too willing to change it tactically either. The discipline is a big problem as well. That amount of red & yellow cards is a sign of a team struggling. We've racked up more reds than teams would get over 2/3 seasons. Anyway hopefully with the window we get in a few bodies, get a bit of excitement going again. I fear for the new supporters that things have gone stale & they could take or leave going. A good cup run would be the job.

The last month or so we have been really bad, but if you told me we would be in the position we are in now at the start of the season, I would have been very happy. Better finishing, discipline, and picking up wins in the games we are drawing or losing by a goal, and we'll be golden.

I'm happy where we are at the moment. Obviously we always want to see our club doing better but I'd have taken this position at the starry of the season.
If we were banging in more goals and doing everything right that we are currently doing wrong then we'd be top of the league so realistically we are about wher we should expect to be.
For the last month or so I've been counting down the days to the transfer window. Lets see if we can strengthen there and push on another little bit. After Dundalk we are going into vital games against the teams bellow us. That's were we need to be picking up the bulk of our points.
When you see teams over the last few teams not even getting to 19 points over the course of the season it shows how well we are doing so far in our first year up.
