Going to be a tough task getting anything in tallaght. They have been putting in better performances recently and I thought one of the best teams I have seen.
I'm going for an optimistic 1-1.

Hopefully Taylor rings a few changes, Any of the guys that are rumoured to be off shouldn't be playing (Browne, Williams, Curran). Yep they were one of the better teams I've seen this year, bossed the 1st game against us with 10 men. Still not feeling too confident, we're a poor side who don't create anything from open play. A team like Rovers will have us sussed out from set pieces, so can't see us scoring unless its a peno. Our defence is absolutely rubbish and are responsible for more goals against us this season than our opponents have created. A pessimistic 3-0 rovers, roll on the transfer window

Our main sin in defence has been losing the ball there. We have given away goals in big matches by purely losing possession at the back.

Thats all well and good wanting to play like that but we don't have the players to do it, surely Taylor would adapt a system according to the type of players he has. Browne was technically the worst player on the ball i've seen play with Limerick in over 20 odd years. Taylor probably spotted this after an hours training but still continued to play this way. Calla unfortunately isn't fit and isn't suited to playing this way either. Folan is only marginally better than the other two but still is shaky & wouldn't inspire any confidence. Nzuzi has a bit of football about him but physically isn't strong enough yet, but he's a young lad & will get better, but whats his position? Can he play at centre half or is he a full back?

4 wins out of 17, 11/12 red cards, 30 approx yellows, not pleasant reading for the half term report. Supposedly created one or two good chances. Anyone on this forum at it?

Created a few half chances. Rovers always looked a class above us and a like a team that knew how to play with each other.
Most of what we tried seemed to be off the cuff. Everything going forward broke down as soon as it got to Gaffney. His first touch usually sent the ball 5 yards away from himself.
When Judge came on we all joked he would be sent off. 5 minutes later he trips a players from behind, as the player goes down he jumps over him and stamps down on him. Deserved the red.
Once again our bench lacked any options really. Surprised not to see Gamble get a run but barr himself and Calla it was all under 19's on the bench. If players are leaving it means we need to bring in around 6 or 7 so that we also have a bench to call upon.

Lots of new faces required it would seem. This discipline problem needs sorting. That amount of red and yellow cards is a really bad reflection on Limerick FC.

From some of the comments on the OSC FB page you'd think there was a riot in Tallaght last night. Was there actually any trouble?
