What do we think? A chance to rest some players, give Gaffney a start?

On in Whitehall for anyone that doesnt know already.
Id give Gaffney the start alright but i'd play a very strong team.
We're not going to get relegated and we're not going to win the league so the cup is something we should be looking to have a really strong tilt at depending on the kindness of the draw.
We're only three games away from a potential semi final in thomond and that would be absolutely massive for the club.

Yep, wouldn't go too mad resting players, one or two max, Nearly made a balls of the EA Cup match with mixing the team up, If they can be a bit ruthless with this crowd, maybe at half time give the team a shake. Crowds have dipped the past while, seem to be levelling out at a 1000 + mark, a good cup run might spark the interest again coming into the school holidays and as limtillidie says, not too many games before your close or into a semi, would be great, especially with a few teams above and below us concentrating on medals or survival, we're in a great position for a good cup run. I'm surprised Glenville didn't swap the fixture to thomond to cash in a bit more & get a chance to play at thomond. Wonder what state Whitehall is in these days, who uses it now as their pitch?

They own it alright, but only have schoolboy teams now, I doubt anyone under 16 is allowed on it, Think the Ireland schoolboys still play on it so must be in good nick all the same, was there years ago and it was superb, think it could've been for a Dublin City game but possibly Home Farm Everton. Anyways who cares, i'll go 5 - 0 Limerick, 4-0 h/t, all the subs on then for a stroll in the sun

Btw, I was looking at the wrong Glenville before when I said they were second last in their league (LSL, as stated, makes my brain melt). That's the other Glenville team. The one we're playing just won promotion from Sunday Senior 1A to Senior 1 (so, from their third tier to second) and were nine games unbeaten by the end of the season.
So, while still a non-league side, they aren't quite as bad as I thought.

senior junior saturday sunday leinster whatever, that leinster senior league is a misnomer, barring the very top division of this league the rest of the teams are junior football teams in everything but name because of the league they happen to be in, they're no better than the other dublin teams from the AUL, AFL, UCL & LFL, (crazy amount of leagues up there) these guys are amateurs who have finished up for the summer, We are now a premier team and our reserves should be beating these guys with ease I'm upping my prediction to 6-0

Expect a win but not as comfortable as what people say. Small, tight pitch so it will be interesting to see how Limerick play. Here is a bit of about Glenville. This is there facebook page. www.facebook.com/glenvillefc?ref=ts&fref=ts

If we put out a second string it will be a very tight game but if we put out a strong side i would be expecting us to win well. We rarely stuff teams though.

I like Ireland league, and follow this league whille ago. I think Limerick is strong enough to score 2 or 3, maybe 4 times. But, if the first squad play. If menager wants some to combine that is difrent. But I dont see a reason to combine becose next game is 08.06. so players can rest enougf for the clash with Saints. We will see tomorow.
