Am I the only one who would be interested in a proper derby game against Pike?

Ya I'd like to get pike too. I think with a full strength team out we would win handy though.
Most years I'm really excited about hopefully pulling a premier team but that is gone now since we are due to play those teams anyway. I'd like any team at home or Cobh away.

Well, frankly, if we lost to a side of Pike's tier, we'd deserve it.

Glenville, away. Near bottom of their LSL tier. I'll take it!

Can't say I know much about them. Rumour is it will be switched to Richmond Park which will be excellent. I'd expect us to be winning this handy. If we don't then we don't deserve to go much further.

When they played Bohs at "home" in 2010 they played in Richmond. Lost 7-1. The workings of the LSL melt my brain a little, but they're in "SAT MAJOR 1A" (which has ended for this season, I think?) along with the likes of Leixlip United, Portmarnock and some Malahide United team.

Sat Major is well down in the LSL it goes from the sunday leagues Sun Senior -> Sun Major -> Sat Major
Should be given them a good baitin, the division they're in would probably compare with lower premier / top of 1A

They must be someway decent to get this far though.

I don't understand how they have even got this far. The limerick teams only qualify by reaching the latter stage of the FAI junior cup so how can a team so many leagues down get as far as the second round of the FAI senior cup?

The limerick teams are classed as junior sides, even though there isn't much/no difference between the top junior sides in the country and the senior clubs. I don't know what the criteria is for the Munster & Leinster Senior league sides to get into the fai. They must go through their own preliminary rounds & probably get a bigger quota of teams allowed in.

I presume they had a bit of luck along the way to get past senior league teams that would be ranked higher. Didn't someone mention they are struggling this year?

They're finishing second last in their league according to the LSL website.
