Will use this to keep an eye on Attendances throughout the season.
Cork: 3,578 UCD: 1,712 St.Pats: 3,000* Shamrock Rovers: 3,006 Bohemians: 1,781
Total attendance so far: 13,077 Average so far: 2,615
*Extra time have changed their estimate so I adjusted it by that.

Not a bad attendance but weird one when compared to UCD - would have thought there'd be more considering it was sat night etc. May be some folks saving themselves for Rovers

2 home games in a row is'nt cheap. I think your right that people we're picking one particular game over the weekend. i would imagine there will be a slightly bigger crowd on Tue night.

Only €20 for the two games...would have thought it was cheap, entry into Icon on a Saturday night is €15 isn't it, and supporting your local team is much more fun than icon on a Saturday night

thats for sure..attendance like that is good and better when its more of a higher number to come..would be nice to get over 4,000 and we should during the season for sure for some of the other big games as it better to support your own than go to those kip nightclubs..havent changed in about 20 years..same old ****........

20 euro for 2 games is great value in itself - 30 for the stands but if your going out to Thomand theres a few drinks/food and a programme and that all adds up is all i'm saying. I've a season ticket myself so when i'm heading out i just bring the extra few bob for the items i mentioned already.

St.Pats attendance was approx 2300 Ive heard from a few ppl since, although the stand looked similarly full to the Cork match from where I was - difficult to judge properly with the multi-coloured seats though!

We've had the same cumulative attendance in 4 matches as we would have had for approx 15 in the first div (almost a full seasons worth of home games)!

I'd say just the away support from pats, cork and shams has been more than the whole attendances at about 3 home games combined last season which is brilliant.

I think Bohs are sending a bus down, but given the day the match is on I'd expect the numbers to be down a fair bit.
I'd love to see those numbers continue on as they have been, but I fear we'll start leaking numbers soon enough. A few people have noted that parts of the "bandwagon" element (I hate that word, for the record, but it fits) might not be happy with the results, which might see a gradual reduction as Limerick settle into a 8th-6th position.

Our average last season finished on 734. Over 14 games that gave us a total of 10,276 fans through the gates. We have already surpassed that by 3,000 people this season after only 5 home games which is a fantastic achievement. Lets hope it can be kept up.

I'd have some confidence 1700 might be near the base support. Hard to tell but while I had hope for around 2000, considering certain factors others have mentioned, it was a decent turn out. Like any business, the team needed a result and thankfully they got it. Bray and Shels is a good chance to get more points on the board. With the Drogs and Sligo coming up on Friday nights in May, I'd say ye'll see a climb in support over the next two games with a bumper crowd for the Sligo clash.
