A decent performance last night against Sweden but we need to be more clinical with chances if we are to be so limited with them.
Hoolahan should start on Tuesday against Austria so that means he probably won't, as should McCarthy but for some reason I see him bringing back in Whelan.
Is it time to drop Keane?
Opinions on Trapattoni?
Is the Squad as limited as people make out or is it just limited players being picked?

I'm not a Keane-hater, but I do think we have others players who can fulfill his role better, or we would be better served switching to a lone man, Long preferably, upfront. The guy was off the pace a lot last night, late to crosses and its been the same story for a while now.

Any thoughts on tonight's lineup?
I can see this one ending in a draw. I don't think Sammon has the quality for International but hopefull he proves me wrong. Would love to see Hoolahan come on around the 60 minute mark if its still all square and really go for it.

If only thats what happened... how in the name of jaysus Sammon got 90 mins is beyond belief, he was dead from 60 mins gone. Time for the Italian to go.

Ya I agree, Sammon worked his arse off and should have come off for fresh legs. Hoolahan would have controlled the game much better. We gave away a lot of possession in the second half putting ourselves under terrible pressure.
How Brady can say Trap shouldn't be sacked until its in black and white that we can't qualify is beyond belief. Has he not heard of too little too late, cause thats what it will be if we wait till we are mathematically out. He also argued that we are level on points with Austria and Sweeden forgetting that Sweeden have a game in hand which if they win they will go 3 points clear of us.
