As we are now looking forward to the start of our first season in the Premier League, who do ye reckon is going to be the biggest threat individually. I have only seen a handful of live Premier games in the last few seasons but the best player I have seen would be James Chambers who is gone to Shamrock Rovers this season.
What is your opinion on this?

I'd have to go for Ronan Finn (Shamrock Rovers). Have only seen him live a handful of times and the rest on telly but he is a top midfielder. Chips in with a lot of goals and is very comfortable on the ball. He is well capable of opening up any team in the division.

The best players in the division are probably Ronan Finn, Danny Ventre, Jambo Chambers and Mark Quigley. Shane McFaul is harmless if you kick him early, but I think Paul O'Connor who is at Drogheda this year will be a massive player.

Danny Ventre is a very limited player in a good side. There are much better players than him around.

Tommy had a greed a deal to send him on loan to Dundalk, was hoping to bring Stephen Mulcahy back in. Kalen refused to go. Tommy and Kalen have fallen out a number of times from what I've heard. Apparently there was another slagging match after Kalen got sent off last week. I didn't hear that first hand though so don't know how true it is. Tommy doesn't like stupid sendings off, Keigan Parkers sending off last year was the end of him pretty much. Theres no video footage of the sending off but apparently he threw an elbow.

Cant wait to see how Dave O'Leary steps up myslef. How has Daryl Horgan been in the premier? Think i might take a strip down to have a look at ye tomorrow night.

Daryl started well but struggled when he was moved to the left last season and teams got used to him. Particuarly as we had very little on the other side for teams to worry about.
hes off to a great start in the two Setanta games so far, scored one and has a couple of assists already. Hes invariably involved in anything good attackingwise we do.

Always a big clamour from fellas in Limerick to sign him that make out he is fantastic imo he is just an average player. Better then Gamble in your opinion?

Personally, I'm a big fan though he hasn't progressed as much as we had hoped. We'll still have a very strong midfield, with him, Gearoid, Colin Healy, Garry Buckley and Brian Lenihan.
