The seriousish business supposedly starting tonight with talk of a strong team being put out against Wexford.
Should give us a better idea of the way Taylor wants it.
Galbraith to make his debut.
Worst case scenario we lose and the doom mongers get sorted.
I'll provide liveish updates here depending on internet coverage!

Thats what i was saying to someone the other day i thought was happening. The first few friendlies were Taylors only chance to get a look at 19s to see were they good enough to step up and make a proper judgement on where he needed to strengthen. Now that he has that i would expect to see close enough to our startling team getting more time together to gel in the remaining friendlies.

Apparently the performance was very solid. I'll wait for BWA to come on here and fill us in though.

That was more like it.
Wexford scored very early long ball through the middle soft goal to concede.
More or less dominated after that wexford couldnt get a sniff lots of movement from the front three the new left back is a beast curran is very lively shane tracy had a great game in the middle all ground football patience from the back until the right pass is on then they try to up tempo.
Shane scored two frees and a penalty. First free kick was edge of box distance but out by touchline caught keeper at near post. Second free was edge of box shane asked ref could he go ref said grand and he stuck it top corner while keeper was still trying to organise wall! Penalty came after a good move ended with Curran being dragged back in the box. Rainsfords goal was a peach of a looping volley past the keeper
Overall very encouraging.
Cusack (Walsh) Kelly O Callaghan (Purcell) Folan Williams (Costello) Tracy (Rainsford) Gamble (McGann) O Leary (Feeny) Galbraith Gaffney (Sheedy) Curran

Just my own opinions on the lads:
Cusack: Didnt really have much to do. Looked nervous at times when the ball was played back to him.
Kelly: Usual from him up and down the line and got stuck in well.
Folan: A touch of class really very calm on the ball, some of his short passes went astray but more often he does well with the ball. Long range passing is a joy to watch.
Calla: Was poor for the goal and a bit slow on the ball at times but solid enough.
Williams: Looks a real player big tough defender that scared the life out of the right winger. Very good on the ball too no hoofing it away or out for throws looks for the pass instead. Up and down the line well with some lovely crosses. Very solid.
O'Leary: Did well on the ball usual performance from him .
Gamble: Sat in front of the back 4 broke things up well played the ball well. As usual booked.
Tracy: Great performance in the middle spread the ball very well and was great when the team was pushing up pressuring for the ball. Looks a natural in the 3 man midfield. In with a real shout for MOTM even with out the hat-trick.
Curran: So lively he will cause lots of problems wants to get involved as much as possible gets stuck in well. Very very quick which is a real plus. should have scored 2 had great chances but i still think we will get 5-10 goals form him because of how much he will get into positions. Between him and Tracy for MOTM imo.
Gaffney: Showed some signs of the Gaffney of last season. Sill getting used to the new style of play which is no surprise considering the way he was playing last season. Showing good signs for a lad just coming back from inury.
Glabraith: Was ok. Showed signs now and then that he is a good player. Tried too many flicks and tricks which got him a few kicks and ran out of room on a narrow pitch a few times. Some lovely passes and will be good when he settles in imo.
Only playing against Wexford i know but a good performance with a lot of positives to take going forward. Wexford didn't look like they belonged on the same pitch as our lads. Absolutely lovely to watch at times which will be a lovely change.

From your analyses there BWA it looks like a decent season ahead.
The only thing that might totally kill our season will be injuries.
