Any word on comings or goings during the window? Whats the story with the UK lads that were signed, were they loan or full time? I'd keep Curran, Nzuzi, Axel, Galbraith(only just) Get rid of Browne, Williams Any word on how the junior lads training with us are doing? I only heard the names of 3 lads and Clarke is one that maybe could be a good signing.

Williams and Browne will probably leave. Williams because he has been injured all the time and Browne because he isn't better than anyone we have and we need another good centre half brought in.
I'd definitely keep Curran, Axel, Galbraith and Nzuzi. I saw it said on foot though that rumours are curran is leaving. He seems to be saying all the time on twitter that he wants to stay though.
I have heard 10 junior players asked to train but only three were able to so far because of injury and an international game.
I would expect to see 1 or two in from the UK if the above mentioned lads leave.

good news if true. I like him as a player, he gives it socks, could do with some more goals out of him but I think the lack of goals is down to the way Taylor has us playing, whatever way that is... some new style no-one has cottoned onto yet, even the players

There was some story going about that Limerick could try and grab Elding if Sligo could sign Zayed, but not sure how much of that was based in reality.

Would find it hard to see Elding leaving yet. He has scored plenty of goals for them and despite offering nothing else he would still be a big loss.
I would think interesting times a head signings wise. There are a few players around the league I wouldn't mind seeing us move for. Kilduff and Stewart are warming the bench for Shams and McMillian would be a good move too. Preferably though we would pick up players that aren't cup tied.

Browne is gone, according to Twitter. Ya he walked out after the Sligo game. No loss and allows us to get in another centre back or two.

One of the worst players I've seen play with the club in years. Appearances are deceptive, looks a big strong athletic guy, but isn't, he's slow and terrible on the ball. Looking at his wiki page I'd say we weren't the only club fooled by him or his agent, he's gone through about 14 clubs in 10 years. Seems to have gotten a few games at each club before they twigged that he was a bluffer and offloaded him.

Any players people would like to see us bring in or try to bring in?

Obviously that would depend on the money available, lee lynch & shane duggan would be good to get, but couldn't see lynch leaving Sligo to come to us. An experienced centre half would be a priority. Unsure about a striker as I think its down to the way we play as the reason we don't have anyone prolific.

I think the lack of goals is a combination of both. For example against UCD we created a lot of chances, a few tap ins and none were taken advantage of.
Lynch and Duggan would probably cost us money at the moment. We need to get someone in that we could get released from a club. I have heard that Malkys son is training with us at the moment or at least was, he spent 4 years at Man U and a year or two at Birmingham and is a centre half. He may just be trying to stay fit though.

I don't know anything about Malkys son tbh, but I think we should be aiming for better than that. I'm sure Malky had a hand in getting his son that experience, he knows Fergie well & was at Birmingham himself. We should be looking for guys that have some senior level experience in whatever leagues they're coming from. Most of the guys we've got in from the UK have been average at best & that is with lower UK league experience. I'm sure there's a lot of free agents floating about the UK having just been released from contracts in the last few weeks for whatever reasons, possibly a good few paddies too who may be interested in a move back.

www.thepfa.com/transferlistThat's the transfer list there. I the m the problem is a few will hold out over in the hope of getting a contract somewhere in the UK and we would only be a last resort for a lot of players.
