What an absolute joke they are advising people not to go to the game with kids tonight. Gives a totally wrong impression of what the game is like and will stop a lot of people going. Not like there is any hope of trouble inside the ground and the away fans even go in the opposite side.
They are a sponsor should be encouraging people to go not the opposite.

Jaysus now that you say it a fella I was talikin to this morning was undecided on the game as he didn't want to bring the 2 youngfellas.

yeah heard that too, appalling it was to hear of it, disgracefull and deplorable it was of a radio station to say that about that to warn people not to goto the match..and there a sponsor..think they should appologise and be dropped..thats a disgrace to do that..do they want to wreck limerick fc as thats not on..that can ruin a team..to make bad publicity like that is shamefull and live 95fm should be ashamed of themselves....so anyword yet from 95fm of an appology....to the superblues and the supporters and the public...

Anyone know the reason why 95fm not doing live commentaries of the matches? The only one they did was the Cork game. They should really be doin all the games. It was great to be able to listen to the sligo game on ocean fm. I think is poor form from 95fm but not a surprise really.

Yep I listened to it on Ocean as well, it was good & the commentators were surprisingly unbiased. 95 fm do rugby & both GAA codes every match so it is surprising they're not doing it considering they're a sponsor. Is there any Louth stations that cover Dundalk games?

Ya I think it's Dundalk Fm that do the matches. If its the same lads that used to do it they are great craic to listen to. I used to listen to them when Dundalk were in the first division.

I've been contacted by people from Live95fm and the club to tell me that comments made about not bringing kids to the game v Shamrock Rovers have nothing to do with Live95. I wasn't the first to mention it online as has been said and there were several others that have made the mistake so there is clearly some confusion going around about it at the time i would have said i was 100% sure of the information i gave but since i have been told it is incorrect i just want to apologise to people on here for giving out the wrong information. Also want to apologise to Live95fm and Limerick FC for my part in spreading what i have been informed is false information.

He has apologised now so time to move on. I have to say though both 95fm and the leader have given us excellent coverage this season. Every sports discussion has involved talk about limerick and the leader have been doing player ratings on each player after home games. |

Did anyone listen to the commentary on dundalk fm? twas priceless, unlike their counterparts in Ocean fm the week before, they were completely one sided. Didn't give us credit for anything & more or less said we were a shite team. The accents on 'em as well was gas. Its great to be able to get the away matches on the wireless. Any other teams ye know of does this?

Waterford Fans set up a streaming radio commentary thing for the matches that I listened to a few times last season, can't remember the link though.
